The challenge

Create all the content for giant cylindrical screens at Mexico's busiest airport, a format that required adapting every piece as flat, standard 3D or anamorphic 3D. The airport wanted representative Mexican culture, changing with the season and the calendar.

The idea

A rotating program of two pieces per month: jacarandas in anamorphic 3D, the monarch butterfly migration, Mexican gastronomy, floating textiles that travel from screen to screen, and an abstract piece on Mexico's literary diversity.

In parallel, a second line of 3D and anamorphic demos for brands.

From cylinder to floor

  1. 01

    Cylinder template

The real geometry of each screen.

  2. 02

    Anamorphic camera

Perspective built for the traveler's point of view.

  3. 03

    Three outputs

Flat, standard 3D or anamorphic, depending on the space.

My part

All concept, 3D, animation and output for both lines.

A cylindrical LED screen wrapped around a column in the AICM terminal, with a sculpture of colored ribbons that seems to float inside it, above the check-in counters.
